A Wise person once told me"If you could splurge on one thing, splurge on a BeD." So I did! And I am so glad that I did. I remember walking into The Bombay store, and eyeing this beautiful Canopy bed and saying "That is going to be my bed" And a few months later it was mine. I bought it as a gift to myself for Christmas one year.
I often refer to it as my Island. It has that tropical feel that I love with the beautiful detailing in the wood, and the canopy. I love my bed, and I thank God every night for my slice of heaven. Oh the mattress I got was from the Brick, I put box spring and mattress in. In store they only showed the one mattress but I love it high up.

I even bought the matching stepper for the bed, I love climbing in at night. Here is a link if you want to see it.

Noir LoVe Me

A woman should change up her scents like her mood. When night hits and I'm in that loving mood I reach for this one.

I love wearing perfume, but I'm sensitive to some scents, none of the Victoria's Secrets perfumes are over powering, I love them. Can't wait to try their new Gorgeous one.

Very SeXy Perfume

This perfume helps you feel every more Sexy. Love it, its my night time choice. Available at Victoria's Secret.

LoVe RockS

When I hit the Victoria's Secret sale I did a cologne haul ha. I wear this one when I feel that Love Rocks. I love the bottle and the scent.

I even got matching Love Rocks scented Tattoos, these I got from Ebay though. 

Gifts

Some can be seen and others are felt. Life has taught me to be grateful for everything. Big or small. I may not be able to shower my friends with Gifts, if I could I would spoil them rotten. What I can give them is a SmiLe, my TiMe, an EaR, a LaugH, a HuG, a KiSS, a Pat on the Back or a Right On. Gifts don't need to cost a thing and if everyone gave a gift of a SmiLe to a Stranger,it would be contagious.

I did get a visual gift today, from my neighbor. She is so thoughtful and knows my love for makeup, she also labeled me the Neighborhood fashionista ha, and said she loves my clothes... So sweet :)) She is also my Avon lady, and this bracelet is only for reps but she gave it me. Feeling BLeSSeD, It's too cute.

Fashion Sense

Fashion Sense is a good way to describe how I choose my clothing. Its all about the FeeL, and the Sensation it gives me against my skin. I make my purchasing decision really on the fabric, of course its the style and color but I think the fabric is my number on reason why I make the clothes purchases I do.

My all time comfy clothes come from Aeropostale I absolutely love their Sweat Shirts T-Shirts & Sweats. They are sooo soooo soft. You might say that's a teen's store I would never think of shopping their. But if you wear a Small, Medium or Large, your in luck. I wear a Small and the Hoodies are a little big for me, but I do like my hoodies a little bigger. I have them in a lot of colors so when I want to slack inside its mostly my Aero Hoodies & Sweats. Their a slice of Heaven on.

I LoVe the kind of sweat pants that you roll up at the bottom. These are my favorites for sure. 

My Fave Mascaras

I keep all my mascaras in a handy reusable container. The Cottonelle FreshWipes container. Ha! They fit perfect in their, and sit on my bathroom counter. I have many that I always usually get with coupons or on sale.
I really do have a few favorites and its hard to label them first second third. They all lengthen and make the lashes longer. And one of them over time does actually lengthen them. Best part their all from Walmart :)

I love this one, when I first got it, I used it for a week or so everyday. It really does help to lengthen your lashes over time. 

Scent of This Woman

I have so many reasons why I LoVe the Scent of Victoria's Secret Dream Angels Heavenly. I've been a Lover of this product for years, and am so thrilled that they are now here in Ontario. It was honestly love at first smell for me, and I still smile every time I spritz it on.

Over the Summer they had an amazing SaLe which is a word I LoVe. Grateful that I got to go, of course I picked up their SuMMeR Version of Heavenly which is sooooo Yummy for SuMMeR I'm hating that I have to put it away...unless a Vacation is in my future.

Love the design and color of the bottle. I have it on a tray in my bedroom with three other bottles of Heavenly, one even has glitter in it that I love but that one is for when I want that shimmer with the scent.

Prime Your Eyes

After I moisturize I reach for Mac's Prep & Prime. I love it, It gently coats your lashes with a serum that's clear & it makes your lashes longer & ready for your favorite mascara. I use it before bed too, and leave it on all night. Its recommended you use it twice a day. In weeks you will see longer lashes.. Love this product. Available at The Bay at the Mac counter or online.

I think I should save Mascara for another blog post cause I have a few favorite ones. Next onto eye primer. I used to have a Sally Beauty across the street from me, so that is where I got mine. Eye primer is really really important, it dries up any oils on the lid and creates a smooth canvas for your fave eye shadow or liner.

Body Moisturizer

I like keeping my skin a bit on the tanned side. Most gradual tanners have built in moisturizers, so a few days a week to keep my tan up I use a self tanner.


In between I use and LoVe The Body Shop's Body Butter's. In SuMMeR I always have Grapefruit & Strawberry scents close by. Winter time I switch it up to Coconut or Cocoa Butter. Their rich in emollients and their scents are absolutely yummy. I've been a fan for years.

Sunless Tan

For me I have always used a self tanner especially on the face. It makes your face look healthier and evens out the skin tone. The one I have used this summer and still am using is by Clarins. Its non greasy and leaves your face feeling so smooth. I let my moisturizer absorb into my skin awhile before I apply it. I love this product, and a little really does go along way. So worth the price.

Fashion Obsessed...Just a Little

Besides potions & lotions I love Fashion. Keeping up with Trends doesn't always have to be expensive. I look for deals always. I am partial to Shopping at a few stores though :) My first mad love affair is with H&M♥, its crazy half my closet is totally them. My love for them heightened when I shopped at a H&M in Denmark.
Always always great quality fashion at great prices.

Other stores I shop at Urban Planet, Joe Fresh, Forever 21, Aeropostale, Ardene, Garage, Guess & ya sometimes even Walmart. You can find some really nice fashions their and the price is always right.

Soooo happy this will be mine soooon soooon. I have a SuperStore right near where I live its not in yet, but I do know it is out in other stores, especially Joe Fresh stand alone shops. I love this jacket for FaLL.

I think it was love at first sight. And at $69.00 its going to feel like a cozy piece of cloud on :) & I bought matching boots in brown leather at Urban Planet for 39.00. They have a huge selection of Fall boots right now. 

Moisturizing at Night Time

Its Bed time, Sleepy time. That's a really important time to cleanse off all our makeup and the elements of the day. I am faithful with my night time ritual, ahh and on the odd time I don't wash, I feel so guilty ha. Besides when I learnt that mites live in our eyelashes that grossed me out totally ha. Its time to Wash .....

The only thing I change up from my Morning Routine, is I use a Makeup Remover along with my cleanser.
So first I remove my eye makeup then I use my Olay cleanser. Next step even before I moisturize is ....
The Lips I never forget my lips, so a few nights a week, after I dry my face I dampen my towel, and light circular motions I scruff my lips. It takes off all the flaky's and dead skin. Works awesome & really easy.

Next eye cream, I use the same one I am using in the morning for my nightly ritual. Then onto moisturizing my face. At the moment I have been using the sister of the my Day cream ha.

Moisturizing The Face for Day

Before I moisturize, I take care of my eyes. I was a loyal fan of  Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti Puff Roller until I found my next Love ha....and here it is. 

You can get this dual eye cream from Avon. The gel side is for the top of the lid, and the creme is for under the eye. I absolutely love it. The skin around my eyes feel tighter especially on the upper lid. So glad I tried this product. 

Next its on to the rest of the face. 

I was lucky enough to be chosen for the Garnier Ultra Lift 2 week challenge a few months back. I fell in love with it, my skin was firmer, and everyone was asking what I was using...who doesn't love that. 

Good Morning Face

I love my morning beauty routine. Its my morning ritual shortly upon waking. Its been my face friend for many years :)

Splash Cold Water on my Face Ha! Seriously I love this part. I wake up with puffy eyes and this gets the blood in the face going and helps to wake me up.

Change the temp of the Water to warm, and use your favorite Cleanser. I tend to change cleansers because
I don't like to get used to anything, and like to change things up. Presently I have been using this one and I am really pleased with it. And its so gentle you can use it every day, I love the mini scrubbing beads in it.

Next its Toner Time, I like using The Body Shop's Toner in Cucumber. It makes my face really fresh feeling and takes off whatever my cleanser didn't. I picked it up before Summer, lasts a long time too

Moisturize,Moisturize,Moisturize. This is soooooooo important. I also always make sure whatever moisturizer I am using I use one with an SPF of at least 15. If it doesn't have any in it, I mix my own
Sunscreen into my favorite moisturizer and Voila...Protected against the elements.

Elle Canada

I was one of the lucky women across Canada to get chosen for the 2012 Beauty Grand Prix.
I was sent products to test for a period of 3 months. We have no idea what product we are
trying out as they are wrapped in beautiful silver Elle metallic paper. I'm loving this assignment.

I'll be sure to add more to this in November once I found out what products I have been
testing, and which ones were my favorites.

I'm just a girl who was born and raised in Toronto,
40 something years ago :)
My parents were both born in Italy and both met in T.O.
I love my Italian roots, my parents gave me my love of music,
fashion,culture,and great food :) And I guess I had best of
both worlds cause my mom was born in Northern Italy, bordering Austria,
and my dad was born in Southern Italy in Calabria.
Two totally different dialects and tastes ha :)
I love that I was made here in Canada but I also wouldn't have complained
one bit if I had been born near one of the beautiful beaches in Italy either ha :)

My mom came from the dark purple area on the map above and my dad in the orange beside Sicily.
